Fenway's Bagpiper

Oct. 21 – Boston – Bagpiper Mark Phelps, 26 of Lowell, plays under the Citgo sign outside Fenway Park before ALCS Game Seven between the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians. Phelps plays occasionally before games in Kenmore Square.

Phelps, originally from Connecticut, said, “Growing up, I certainly leaned more toward the New York side of things, but since moving here I’ve been a Sox fan.”

Phelps said, “I usually play before games and keep going until I get tired. I’ll probably play into the first couple innings then go watch the game in a bar.”
