North Dakota v. UMass

10.11.08 - Boston, Mass. - North Dakota almost came up with a win against UMass-Amherst, but fell short for the second night in a row, losing 3-2. I was able to freelance the game through the Grand Forks Herald and the top photo appeared in their Sunday edition.

Boston University v. North Dakota

10.10.08 - The rout was on as No. 8 BU leveled No. 5 North Dakota 5-1 in their first game of the season at the 2008 NCAA Icebreaker Invitational at Agganis Arena. It was good to be back in "The Greek" (Bill Simmonsesque attempt at a nickname, might catch on, let's see), and even better to see BU play well.

It was a bad weekend for NoDak who lost to UMass 3-2 the following night to start off 0-2.

A slip up.

A scuffle. NoDak has had some legendary fights in its history. Nothing of note this weekend though.
