Quebec!

12.25.08 - Quebec City, Quebec, Canada - The Nunnally clan set new lows (pun intended) for "The coldest I've ever been is..." and we visited the Old World on a three day trip to Quebec over Christmas. The city was awesome, walkable, icy. I ate wayyyyy too much pate (including a creme brulee pate which was AWESOME), raclette (a Nunnally family favorite) and French onion soup.

Christmas day was highlighted by Osso Bucco, poutine and 5 degree Farehnheit temps. A good time was had by all. In case you're wondering I got stationary for Christmas (actually a great gift and yes, I am old because I thought it was a great gift) and I gave my parents bacon.

Hope yours was just as eventful.

Au revoir,

Guglie

Rep. Frank Hynes Retires from Statehouse

12.18.08 - Boston, Mass. - Rep. Frank Hynes, D-Marshfield, gave his farewell speech at the Statehouse along with ten other state representatives. Hynes spent 28 years representing Marshfield and challenged his peers to work across the aisle to help ease the budget crisis that has Massachusetts in a $2 billion hole to start the year.

Boston University v. Boston College

12.06.08 - Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Got to shoot the BU v. BC game on Saturday. An excellent affair that featured BU students beginning the game with a "Let's go Hokies!" chant to comemorate Virginia Tech's ACC Championship victory over BC earlier that day. To correct for my potential bias, I submitted this photo of Colin Wilson getting an earful of stick from BC's Ben Ferriero.

P.S. - BU won, 3-1.

Bam!

Toys for Tots for Birthday

12.06.08 - Wilmington, Mass. - Amanda Keane, 16 of Wilmington, asked her friends and family to donate to Toys for Tots for her birthday rather than receive gifts herself.

Awesome,

Will

Quincy Dinner Theater

12.03.08 - Quincy, Mass. - The Quincy Dinner Theater puts on its annual show at the Sons of Italy in Quincy. Decent small theater, fun with lights and eccentric directors. This years show was set in an airport during weather delays.
